Resources and links to free services
As much as I'd love to be the right counsellor for everyone, I understand that you may still be unsure about whether you would like counselling with me, or it may simply be out of budget, so I just wanted to share below some resources and links to some free services you may find useful in the meantime!
General mental health:
Chronic pain and disability
Helpline: 0300 123 0789
Pain Concern are a charity that helps support people living with chronic pain. They provide a helpline, self help resources and a community forum where you can connect with other people with chronic pain and support each other.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a movement that helps people with invisible disabilities. Lots of different organisations recognise the sunflower scheme, so if you discreetly wear the lanyard when out and about others will be more likely to ask if you need assistance. See their website for more information.
